Operating instructions

When you operate a caravan mover for the first time, we recommend you to read the following issues carefully.
  • Practice in an area free of cars and or other obstacles.
  • Before you actuate the drive rollers to the tyres, make sure that no stones or other sharp objects are between the drive rollers and the tyres.
  • Make sure that you are not too far away from the caravan to intervene directly if necessary,
a distance of 4 meters is sufficient.
  • When the system malfunctions, switch off immediately the main power and apply the handbrake.
  • In the event that the caravan will be moved downwards, make sure that the drawbar is pointed downwards. This enhances the stability of the caravan while driving and prevents rolling over or swinging of the caravan.
  • The caravan mover is not a parking brake. If the caravan is in place, first apply the parking brake and disengage the drive rollers from the tyres.
  • Make sure that the wheels are blocked and the 12 volt main switch is turned off.
  • Store the remote in a dry and safe place, out of reach of small children.
  • The caravan can never be moved with the drive rollers engaged, this can cause damage to the mover and the tyres.
  • Do not store your belongings, such as cameras, laptops and digital playback devices in the same place
as the Electronic controller and the electric cables. The magnetic field can cause damage to your equipment.
